Mukesh Sehgal - Founder, President, and CEO

As President and CEO of RSG Media Systems, Inc. for over thirty years, Mukesh Sehgal leads the development of RSG Media’s industry-leading software solutions that are crucial in supporting business strategies. Under his leadership, RSG Media has pioneered building systems that manage and report on content rights, usage, royalties, financials, and other critical factors that let rights owners exploit their assets fully. These systems are used by media & entertainment companies worldwide. Mukesh has applied principles from his bestselling book, published on relational database management systems, DB2: Concepts, Programming, and Design, to further innovate RSG Media into creating a new arm of the company in ad sales, helping clients manage linear and digital ad inventory. From this unique position, RSG Media simplifies rights management, content usage revenue and promo optimization, allowing the world’s top media & entertainment companies to engage with consumers across all screens, formats, and types of inventory.

Mukesh holds an M.B.A. degree from the India Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where he was a Unilever Scholar, and a degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he graduated first with distinction. Mukesh is on the Board of Directors at his neighborhood YMCA in Greenwhich, CT. 

Laurel Meredith - Executive Vice President, Business Development

Laurel Meredith brings tremendous creative energy to RSG from her extensive experience in project management and new product development for leading media companies. At Universal Television Group, Ms. Meredith created an Affiliate Sales system. At Lonely Planet Publications, she was responsible for creating new digital consumer products. As Vice President, Product Management at Bertelsmann’s BOL, she oversaw all front-end development for a multinational ecommerce website. At RSG Media, she calls on her background as a literary agent at Brockman, Inc. to help simplify and automate the complexities of rights management. Today Ms. Meredith oversees all business development and sales strategy for RSG Media. Ms. Meredith received her BA from Cornell University.

Ramakant Arcot - CTO, RightsLogic

Seasoned technology strategist Ram Arcot has more than fifteen years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of mission-critical enterprise software solutions for media, entertainment, and publishing industries. After acting as the chief architect of RSG’s first intranet web-based solution—still in use at RSG—Mr. Arcot was promoted to head the Product Engineering team at RSG, and built XPeranto, a java based Data Integration Server along with a successful suite of business process management products. Mr. Arcot was also the chief architect for RightsLogic®, RSG’s flagship rights solution. Mr. Arcot received his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Computer-Aided Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. 

Bikash Panigrahi (Pani) - CTO, Ad Sales & Analytics

With almost three decades of experience developing architecture and directing teams building key Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, Analytics, BMS, and Rights Management solutions for leading Media businesses worldwide, Pani brings the highest degree of technical and “subject matter expertise” in the industry, across multiple disciplines. Seasoned technology strategist Pani earned his B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Thomas Siegman - Executive Vice President, Innovation, Strategy & Client Relations

A global expert in client relations, since 2000, Mr. Siegman has worked with RSG’s clients to identify opportunities and devise strategies to take advantage of emerging technologies, manage their content rights, improve the customer experience, and leverage advanced mathematics to optimize ad revenues. Before joining RSG, Mr. Siegman was a domestic brand manager in Japan for one of Japan’s largest consumer packaged goods company. He has conducted business in 40 countries on six continents, speaks Japanese fluently, and is a member of MENSA. Mr. Siegman received his MBA from Thunderbird (The Garvin School of International Business) and his BA from Oberlin.

Sridhar Seshadri - Chief Data Scientist

A leading academic in the field of operations management, Professor Seshadri is currently a Professor of Operations Management and Associate Dean, Faculty and Research in the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad India. An expert optimization techniques, stochastic modeling, and design of supply chains. He is the author of several books and articles on optimization and software. He is an Associate Editor for Naval Research Logistics, a Senior Editor for the Production and Operations Management Journal and the Area Editor for Inventory, Reliability, and Control for Operations Research Letters. He received his Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, and the Ph.D. degree in Management Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Cirilo Rosado - CISO, VP Technology & Office Infrastructure Services

Mr. Rosado is a senior infrastructure specialist with 40+ years of experience in the areas of hardware field engineering, local and wide area networking, global voice and data communications, software programming, and facilities management. Mr. Rosado worked 13 years for NCR Corporation in the US and as a field specialist in the Caribbean and Central and South Americas. He designed and implemented the first wide and local area networks for CCH-LIS (Commerce Clearing House – Legal Information Services) a major player in the corporate legal world which included 34 branch offices and 40+ subsidiaries across the US. Mr. Rosado designed and implemented RSG Media's US and India data centers, local and wide area networks and currently oversees their day-to-day operations. 

Dan Cox - Vice President 

Dan Cox is an experienced media and entertainment industry leader who delivers strategic solutions and leadership that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. He has successfully implemented complex rights management solutions for studios, cable, satellite and IPTV video service operators, television networks and broadcasters, entertainment, gaming, music, publishing, and consumer products companies. 

Mr. Cox has spent over 15 years servicing the media and entertainment industry, starting his career at Oracle Corporation as a consultant and soon after became a business manager in the media and entertainment space.  At Sophoi, he led the company as the Director of Business Development. While working at Counterpoint Systems, Mr. Cox led the company as Global Head of Sales & Marketing and later transitioned over to Mediamorph where he served as International Sales Director. Today, Mr. Cox calls on his background as an expert in intellectual property, rights and metadata, royalties, participations, financial and revenue management, and increasing return on content investment to lead RSG Media’s international growth as its Vice President.

Amy Walser - Vice President Product Management, IP Rights & Royalties

As a senior veteran of media companies, Ms. Walser is charged with implementing best practices and system solutions for IP rights and royalties at RSG. Previously, Ms. Walser spent nine years at Nickelodeon where she was VP, Global Operations for Consumer Products and created processes and systems that serviced more than 2,000 licensees.  During her tenure at Nickelodeon, she kick started the network’s Rights Management project for production and talent agreements.  Early in her career she developed and executed a homegrown licensing system for Fox Kids Networks to manage the growing Power Rangers and Digimon businesses, which were acquired by Disney in 2002.  At RSG Media, Ms. Walser leads Licensing Product Management and oversees Managed Services. Ms. Walser holds a BS from California State University Northridge and an MBA from New York University.

 

David Hoffman - Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Hoffman serves as RSG’s Vice President of Business Development, where he leads both the RightsLogic and sales teams. He has been with RSG for 8 years, and continues to be successful in implementing best practices for RightsLogic, RSG’s signature solution for content rights and royalty management.  Prior to joining RSG in 2008, Mr. Hoffman implemented a consumer goods royalties system at Major League Baseball.  Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience in strategic solutions to solve industry challenges, and continues to monitor the operations of the IP supply chain for many of the world’s largest brands in Television, Film, Publishing, Gaming, Retail Licensing, and Telecommunication industries.  Mr. Hoffman holds a BA from Northwestern.

Matt Klepac -Vice President, Creative Marketing & Design

Mr. Klepac brings tremendous strategy and creativity to RSG Media from his experience in marketing and design for leading companies in New York, Texas, and Oklahoma. At IKON Office Solutions, Mr. Klepac continuously led the company as the top sales and marketing representative. He was able to merge the skills that he gathered from IKON to have a very successful experience with Blue Green Vacations, where he excelled as the region’s leading sales representative. During his time at the NBA, as a Community Relations Specialist, Mr. Klepac used his communication skills to help promote and develop the NBA FIT program.  All the while, Mr. Klepac has developed his graphic design expertise by creating websites and print material for clients worldwide.  At RSG Media, he calls on his background as a marketing and design professional to communicate the complexities of content management, ad sales management, and analytics through strategic marketing and creative design. Mr. Klepac currently oversees all marketing strategy and customer facing design for RSG Media.   In addition, Mr. Klepac enjoys a successful career as a professional opera singer.  Performing to large audiences and integrating into different cultures through the operatic art form is a true passion.   Mr. Klepac holds a Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Varun Poddar - Vice President, Media Analytics

Having acquired global experience across complex markets, Mr. Poddar applies his learnings to provide RSG's clients sharp insight into operational efficiencies which can be unlocked by adapting best practices to the client’s needs. A firm believer in rigorous execution, and with an eye for detail, Mr. Poddar has helped clients leverage the principles of data science to provide quantifiable uplift in their revenues. He also leads RSG Media’s new wave Digital Practice, transitioning our product offerings to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry. Prior to RSG, he headed the Ad Sales Strategy team at Star India, 21st Century FOX’s Indian subsidiary, rolling out one of the most defining Ad Sales Products in Asia. Apart from his experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, Varun also draws on his years as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney to structure the business problems faced by his clients and provide industry-wide insights. Mr. Poddar has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a Masters in Management from ESCP-Paris.
 

Sebastian Souyris- Vice President, Data Science

For the last 12 years, Sebastian Souyris has been at the forefront of data-driven optimization, statistics and economic modeling in operations and management science. He has developed and implemented analytical methods to solve problems in diverse industries including sustainability at UT Austin and Austin Energy,  logistics at BNSF Railway and Xerox, sport scheduling at the Chilean Professional Soccer Association, and long-term production planning in copper mines at Codelco. At RSG Media, Sebastian leads a team of data scientists to develop and implement optimization and machine learning methods that power the solutions that manage media companies’ revenue streams. Mr. Souyris has worked in academia and has taught applied mathematics and management science courses at the graduate level at prestigious universities around the world. He is a published author whose work can be found in leading academic journals.  He holds a M.Phil. degree in operations management from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.S. and M.S. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Chile. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Supply Chain & Operations Management at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
