We're searching for a self-motivated and talented Software Engineer to develop the core functionality for our IP Licensing Product. You will work with a team of product strategist and engineers to design and build applications that directly affect our clients day to day productivity.

Skill & Requirements

Successful candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: 

  • 2-4 Years experience in .NET technologies

  • Strong knowledge of all programming languages, preferably C#.

  • Strong SQL, Oracle (PL/Sql Programming) skills preferably Oracle

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong business software application knowledge

  • Familiar with deployment environment experience with any web server, preferably IIS

Position: Director of Sales, West Coast

Location: Los Angeles

RSG Media Systems, LLC seek a dynamic, connected and experienced software sales professional to join our rapidly growing software enterprise.

RSG Media Systems is a leading provider of software and other solutions to the Media & Entertainment industry. We have a proven track record successfully delivering specialty B2B software and services for the media and entertainment industry including:

  • RightsLogic, our licensing & content rights management solution;

  • AdVant, our ad sales optimization suite; and

  • Media Mantra, our data & analytics platform

We are seeking a respected industry professional with established studio, television, and MPVD relationships to leverage our investments in software development. Please be a hunter, looking to find and close new logo and repeat business on the West Coast and Mid-West. You will be supported by a team of industry and subject matter experts out of our New York, London and New Delhi offices.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with senior executives at media and entertainment companies on the West Coast and Mid-West to drive adoption of RSG Media solutions and managed services;

  • Demonstrate industry knowledge and thought leadership to prospects to align RSG Media’s solutions with customers’ achievement of strategic objectives, revenue growth, and innovation;

  • Identify, qualify and progress high potential West Coast and Mid-West sales opportunities through proactive engagement with prospects, colleagues and partners;

  • Develop and manage new business pipeline. Provide regular status reports and communicate on prospecting activity and opportunity progression;

  • Up-sell and cross-sell to existing West Coast and Mid-West clients;

  • Achieve and exceed sales revenue goals;

  • Attend industry events and trade shows as required;

  • Work with the Marketing Director to identify opportunities to develop RSG Media’s brand and position with the industry;

  • Solution selling including mapping of requirements to software and documentation to communicate “to be” solution to customer;

  • Development of proposals, RFI, and RFP responses per RSG standards including detailed pricing proposals;

Requirements

  • Experience selling enterprise software and/or managed services to media & entertainment companies;

  • Existing executive-level contacts at major West Coast and Mid-West studios, cable companies and OTT providers;

  • Deep media industry knowledge and strong understanding of at least one of the following: Content supply chain ecosystem, ad sales, promo management, or data and analytics; Capacity to learn the others.

  • Business acumen, able to highlight solution benefits and structure commercially attractive deals;

  • Consistent track record achieving sales targets and closing six figure deals;

  • High integrity, creative, collaborative and self-motivated;

  • Confident working remotely as part of an international sales team;

  • 20-25% travel required.
